Description Make a single block for a pillow or multiple blocks for a table runner or a quilt -- it is up to you! Using Sew Kind of Wonderful's newest tool, the Wonder Curve ruler, we learn how to easily cut and sew different sized curves -- with no pins! This two-session class provides an excellent jump-start to the gorgeous "Floral Felicity" quilt that we will be starting as a Block of the Month class this summer. Trip Around the World Two-Session Class Wed, Jun 14, 2023 1:00pm - 4:00pm Wed, Jun 28, 2023 1:00pm - 4:00pm

Description It's almost summer and what a great time to plan a "trip around the world" quilting adventure. During this 2-part class, you will make a 48-inch square quilt that showcases a central diamond design. After you learn the technique for this project, you will be confident to make other "trippy" designs as well. The pattern for this quilt will be provided in class and will include modifications to make additional sizes and designs. Some quilting experience is recommended for this class and some "homework" will be required in between the two classes. Description Mary Ellen will teach how to properly measure and cut your fabrics, how to make sure your seam allowance is a scant quarter inch, and how to accurately press your blocks so they do not distort. She will also demonstrate various rulers used in making half-square triangles and flying geese units. While enjoyable for beginners who want to learn basic piecing techniques, intermediate quilters can hone their skills for more accurate piecing. At the end of the six months you will have a beautiful quilt top ready to quilt. Description Join the fun while creating a family heirloom. Discover how to create this fabulous quilt with the look of applique using the color-coded Wonder Curve ruler and simple piecing. Description Join us as we introduce our new Club, The Simple What-Nots by Kim Diehl! Simple What-Nots Club includes eight fun-to-stitch small quilts. Petite project sizes (typically 40" square or less) make these quilts approachable and easy to finish. Pattern handouts feature clear, concise project directions, and often include extra snippets of information providing sewing and quilting tips, tricks and advice. We will meet once a month to sew up these gorgeous little quilts.
