BERNINA Machine Mastery

BERNINA Mastery

Description We offer machine mastery classes with the purchase of a new BERNINA machine. Our sewing mastery is divided into two parts for customers who prefer to take the classes on multiple days. Part 1 is offered 10:30a-1:00p. Part 2 if offered 1:30-4:30p. Embroidery mastery is offered 1:30-4:30p. Serger mastery is offered 10:30a-1:30p. We offer in house or virtual classes for sewing and embroidery machines. Serger classes are only offered in person.  In house sessions meet in our Studio location, 5218 Hollyridge Rd., just up the hill and across the street from our main Raleigh store. Virtual classes allow you to take the class in your home.    Please call our store to sign up for a scheduled mastery class. Learn to care for your machine, and how to use specialty features to customize your machine’s settings to your needs. You’ll learn to use the most important utility stitches on your machine, such as straight stitches, overlock stitches, long stitches, blind hem, and buttonholes. In addition, you’ll learn about the many creative options of your machine, including decorative stitches, combi mode, free-motion stitching and more. We will work step by step through hands-on activities from the My BERNINA Sewing Mastery Workbook. You will learn everything you need to successfully overlock and cover stitch (if available) on your machine including the basics of threading, stitch options, and machine maintenance. We will work step by step through hands-on activities from My BERNINA or bernette Mastery Workbook.
