Description Want to learn how to quilt from A to Z? This 5 session class is what you have been looking for! Each week will provide information and guidance to advanced from basic understanding of the quilt process to actual assembling and finishing a quilt. Session-1: Overview of quilt terminology Review of necessary tools and how to use them Importance of good working sewing machine Choosing fabric How to cut fabric accurately Session-2: Begin piecing Rail Fence; 9-Patch; Double 9-Patchl Square Dance Blocks Session-3: Begin piecing Log Cabin; Friendship Star; Flying Geese Blocks Session-4: Assemble and sew quilt top, make quilt sandwich, begin quilting Session-5: Complete Quilting; square up quilt, attach binding Can't wait to get started!! Merry and Bright BOM Embroidery Quilt BOM - Once-A-Month Sessions Wed, Oct 16, 2024 10:00am - 1:00pm Wed, Nov 20, 2024 10:00am - 1:00pm Wed, Dec 18, 2024 10:00am - 1:00pm

Description The Merry & Bright Christmas Quilt is designed to give all levels of embroidery sewists a fun month by month project to complete for Christmas 2024. The classes for this quilt project will be monthly. All machines are welcome, but you do need a larger hoop capacity. A wall hanging is available to make if your hoops are smaller than 7” x 14”.
