All Year – 2024
Welcome to the 2024 Daytime Gathering at our store.
These projects started in January 2024 and we aim this year a store Kit Choice approach where each Daytime participant completes a piece using a kit purchased at our store and that the Participant finds that fits his/her 2024 plans. The Gathering will be for the entire year; Daytime Gathering 2024 will be for the year — with June/July being “Summer Break” months (no meetings in June/July).
We will be updating this BLOG once in awhile — and, as our Gathering projects have short-lives (for now: Through the calendar year 2024) — perhaps this BLOG helps us all interact.
We look forward to hearing from you and to your joining us in the Gatherings once a month at Bernina World of Sewing in Raleigh.
To participate, it is intended that you have purchased at Bernina World of Sewing the book or pattern involved with this project and, as well, the fabric for the projects used during this Gathering was purchased at Bernina World of Sewing.

We have started this Weblog with the intent of providing the Gathering participants with a “sounding board” for their use.
Please remember that all Weblog entries are audited by me – however, this Weblog is NOT monitored by the store’s staff. Any technical questions, etc. are not meant for store’s-staff members: The Gathering is not a class – and, this Weblog is not a place to ask store staff questions!
Normally, you would start a “Reply” thread using the “Leave a Reply” box at the bottom of this Web page. Alternatively, you just click on the Reply button at the bottom of some existing entry.
Some reminders:
– To place a photo related to your efforts worked-on for the Gathering project, just send an eMail to me with the picture attached/included. I will figure out where you intend the photo for your particular Comment.
– Contact me by eMail if you have any problems / concerns with ANYTHING related to the Weblog. Thank you.

Hi, everyone!
I am glad that you found the BLOG. To make this work, it would be great if once in awhile you make a comment here or send in a photo for the BLOG. This way, we will all be “kept up” with each other’s progress – and problems/successes!
The 2024 Daytime Gathering is store Kit Choice: Participants find at our store a kit that fits their 2024 aims. A true Participant’s Choice Daytime Gatherings for 2024.
To participate in this Gathering, you must be signed up at the store (Bernina World of Sewing). Space is limited!
We will have this Daytime Gathering the third Tuesday morning of each month through the end of the 2024 – with a two month (June/July) break in the Summer.
I wish you some exciting / enjoyable sewing time and projects during the year!

Another “small group” were able to attend the November session; Thanksgiving and other matters took preference for a few. Ok — those that attended had a full day of sewing and comradeship — and: We look forward to December. At the December meeting we plan on a small Holiday Treat celebration as well as having a sew day.
We also encourage December participants to bring a Gathering piece from a previous Gathering-year’s work if such a piece or two or three… are possible to bring. We think it would be fun to reminisce a bit during this finale session of the Tuesday Daytime Gatherings that started “way-back” in 2010/11.

What a great meeting we had!
It was nice getting back in the “swing of things” after the June-July Summer-Break from the Gatherings.

Those that were able to attend the May Daytime Gathering showed their project progress and we enjoyed the day.
A June-July Summer-Break from the Gathering, now. Have a safe and enjoyable two months and we catch each other in August.

A return-to-normal monthly-schedule day. A small group this week — but, a lot of sewing time for those of us who were able to attend. Pieces are progressing and it will be a busy upcoming month I am sure, for all of us. Spring is here!

A short time, between Gathering Sessions January-February due to QuiltCon week coming up – but, it was great to see work-move-forward including some finishing up 2023 projects. All leading to a productive Spring, I am sure — with March coming soon: See you, March 19!
